DuPont™ AmberLite™ IRN160 H/OH is a stoichiometric equivalent (1:1) mixture of nuclear-grade, uniform particle size, gel-type strong acid cation (IRN97 H) and strong base anion (IRN78 OH) exchange resins. It is specifically designed for nuclear power plant water treatment applications where the highest resin purity, stability, and minimal ionic/non-ionic contamination are required. The smaller cation particle size minimizes separation of anion and cation during installation and transfer, ensures faster kinetics, and provides higher exchange capacity, leading to reduced radioactive waste compared to standard mixed beds. The 10% DVB cation resin offers excellent chemical stability and resistance to bead fracture from attrition.
