1. Product Overview

DuPont™ AmberTec™ UP6040 H/OH is a fully regenerated, high-purity mixed bed ion exchange resin specifically designed for ultrapure water (UPW) polishing applications. It delivers 18 MΩ·cm resistivity water with very low total organic carbon (TOC) levels, making it ideal for high-purity water systems requiring exceptional ionic and organic cleanliness. This resin is suitable for a wide range of industries including semiconductor, display panel, solar photovoltaic, pharmaceutical, and power generation. Every batch is tested for resistivity rinse, TOC, and kinetic performance to ensure stringent UPW requirements are met.

3. Performance and Operating Conditions

Ultrapure Water Quality Test Results:

  • Resistivity (Salt Challenge, 10-min): ≥ 18 MΩ·cm

  • ΔTOC (2h00 Rinse): ≤ 3 ppb C

Recommended Operating Conditions:

  • Temperature Range: 15 – 25°C (59 – 77°F)

  • pH Range (Stable): 0 – 14

  • Shipping Weight: 710 g/L

4. Hydraulic Characteristics

  • Rinse Performance: Typical resistivity and TOC rinse curves as a function of rinse time are shown in Figure 2.
